2020 Jaguar F-PACE vs 2020 BMW X3

The 2020 Jaguar F-PACE is where luxury and performance meet. Its refined styling and abundant features create an experience each time you drive one, and there are so many other reasons to own it. However, we understand the luxury SUV market includes many other models and options that can offer a confusing and endless shopping experience. We are going to help you and break down how the F-PACE compares to one of its closest competitors -- the BMW X3.

Be more agile with the 2020 Jaguar F-PACE

The F-PACE includes a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that virtually shares the same horsepower with the BMW X3 (247/248), but the F-PACE pulls ahead when it comes to quality torque. The F-PACE quickly reaches its maximum torque of 269 lb-ft at just 1,300 rpm, whereas the BMW3 tops off at 258 lb-ft at 1,450 rpm. That extra “bump” of acceleration will help you achieve better results when working through traffic or speeding up on a highway.

The lighter curb weight and AWD performance of the F-PACE contributes to its agility and handling, and the shorter turning radius helps the F-PACE navigate tighter areas than the BMW X3. It’s the perfect companion in the city or on the open highways.

Better room and more features in the 2020 Jaguar F-PACE

Inside, the Jaguar F-PACE includes more features than the BMW X3. You will find extra standard equipment such as a roadside assistance plan, which is only available with the BMW Assist package. The slightly longer length of the F-PACE contributes to better rear seat legroom for passengers.  With all seats up, the F-PACE offers more utility with 949 litres of cargo capacity, compared to 813 litres with the BMW X3. This also equates to even more space if all seats are down, and you will haul a wider variety of items for the family, and more.

Both vehicles include several safety features such as stability control, traction control, various airbags, and child seat anchors. However, the F-PACE has several features you won’t find on the X3, including: Airbag Deployment Notification; Stolen Vehicle Tracking; Emergency Services; and more.

A test drive is the most important way to be convinced that the F-PACE is the better vehicle for you. Contact us today to schedule your personal showing.
