2020 Jaguar XE gets plenty of upgrades

The new 2020 Jaguar XE features a wide range of upgrades including a refreshed interior and exterior design, more luxury features, new infotainment system shared with the electric Jaguar I-Pace with artificial intelligence to adapt to the needs of the driver, and a lot more.

Starting at $49,900, the 2020 Jaguar XE will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 247 horsepower right out of the gate. The R-Dynamic SE (P300) gets a four-cylinder turbocharged engine like the base model, but it makes quite a bit more power with 296 horsepower.

All 2020 Jaguar XE models get all-wheel drive. The more powerful P300 starts at $55,800. Both models will feature Jaguar’s JaguarDrive control system with different driving modes along with an available Adaptive and Configurable Dynamics system which provides the perfect balance between comfort and control.

“The new Jaguar XE is all about building on the undeniable sporting proportions of the original car,” said Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design. “We’ve given the car much bolder graphics and more visual width; planting it in a way which really illustrates its dynamic intent. The new XE is a wonderfully complete package with a very purposeful exterior matched to a beautifully crafted, sporty interior.”

A new interior infotainment system featuring a 12.3-inch interactive driver display provides an easy-to-use interface and a responsive human-machine interface that stands out in both design and function. The system also includes a 10-inch upper touchscreen taken from the Jaguar I-Pace which adds quite a bit of flair and refinement to the overall interior of the Jaguar XE.

The system is also capable of adapting itself to the driver thanks to an advanced artificial intelligence system which will recognize over the time how the driver interacts and which functions are used more often.

Outside, the new 2020 Jaguar XE offers a sharper, more aggressive look that includes a redesigned front and rear bumper, a wider grille, and standard J-Blade LED headlights that will create an unmistakable visual presence on the road.

The 2020 Jaguar XE will hit dealerships later this year.
