2021 Jaguar F-Pace vs. 2021 Acura RDX: When Performance Matters

The all-new F-Pace delivers a new perspective for the 2021 model year. With an all-new interior and enhanced exterior, Jaguar has perfected one of the most capable SUV lineups in production. Aside from the exciting updates, F-Pace offers exciting tech, a full suite of driver assistance systems, and four powertrains that span a wide range of efficiency and performance.

With the ascent of the F-Pace in the compact luxury SUV segment, it is time for a comparison to understand how it beats the competition. Here, we compare it to the 2021 Acura RDX.

The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace offers the best performance and efficiency

The F-Pace's sporty attitude makes it a prime candidate for several performance-minded powertrains. The F-Pace S with the P250 engine develops 246 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The F-Pace S also offers the P340 engine that outputs 335 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, which accelerates the model from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.

The Acura RDX only offers a single powertrain. A 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder generates 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, which is more than the F-Pace's P250 powertrain, but less than the P340. However, the F-Pace offers even more options.

The F-Pace R-Dynamic steps up with the P400 that pulls ahead with 395 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. However, the F-Pace series offers a model that is among the most powerful and capable SUVs in production—the 550-hp SVR. It achieves a maximum speed of 286 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds.

The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace maximizes standard equipment

The F-Pace includes a generous amount of technology, including many driver assistance systems like standard Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keep Assist as well as Traffic Sign Recognition and Adaptive Speed Limiter, Front and Rear Parking Aid, and 3D Surround Camera on all models.

The F-Pace also features the Pivi Pro infotainment system with an 11.4" touchscreen, which is larger than the touchscreen the RDX offers. You will also find a Meridian Sound System, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Jaguar Remote App beginning with the first trim level.
