2022 Jaguar F-Pace: Three Safety Technologies That Help The SUV Stand Out

The 2022 Jaguar F-Pace is equipped with a host of features that keep you safe and set it apart from its competition.

InControl Driver Assistance Suite

The 2022 Jaguar F-Pace features Jaguar's InControl suite of driving aids that give you confidence by supporting you in all driving situations. These features include Automatic Emergency Braking, which detects obstacles in front of the vehicle and applies the brakes to avoid a collision, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keeping Assist, which alerts you when the vehicle veers off course and acts on the steering to bring your F-Pace back between the lines. Blind Spot Assist works in a similar way to help avoid a collision with a vehicle in your blind spot when you initiate a lane change. Intelligent Cruise Control is also included to help you maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you.

Traction at all four wheels

The 2022 Jaguar F-Pace is equipped with an advanced all-wheel drive system that uses sensors at every wheel to detect any loss of traction. When the system determines the drive wheels are beginning to slip, the hydraulic center coupling is instantly activated to deliver power to the front axle in addition to the rear. Doing this provides much better stability on slippery and uneven surfaces, since the rear of the vehicle doesn’t try to overtake the front, as would be the case if the rear wheels were allowed to spin uncontrolled.

Jaguar's Remote Features

The 2022 Jaguar F-Pace offers Jaguar Remote connected services that can add to your safety and the protection of your vehicle. You can monitor the status of your vehicle and lock its doors from anywhere by using your cell phone, ensuring that your Jaguar is safe at all times. These same systems can also add to your safety, as a call to emergency services is automatically initiated if the airbags deploy in a collision, ensuring faster medical assistance.
