Here are the Differences Between the Jaguar F-Pace and the Jaguar E-Pace

Jaguar currently has two premium SUVs to offer that are similar in many ways but also different enough to attract different buyers. Here are the elements that set them apart.

The interior and exterior size

The main difference between the Jaguar E-Pace and the Jaguar F-Pace is the exterior and interior format. Indeed, the F-Pace is up to 369 millimetres longer overall than the E-Pace while also being 173 millimetres wider and 28 millimetres higher. This translates into the cabin, which is more generous in the F-Pace, which offers more legroom front and rear, as well as more shoulder room in the front. However, the E-Pace offers more headroom front and rear, as well as more shoulder room in the rear. Unsurprisingly, the F-Pace also benefits from a larger cargo compartment that can accommodate up to 892 litres behind the rear seats and 1,957 litres behind the front seats. Despite its smaller size, the E-Pace can still manage 634 litres or 1,402 litres in the same configurations.

Under the hood

Both the Jaguar E-Pace and the Jaguar F-Pace share the same 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 246 horsepower in the E-Pace and 247 horsepower in the F-Pace. What is different is that while this engine is the only one that can power the E-Pace, this isn’t the case for the larger F-Pace. Indeed, this model can also be ordered with a mild-hybrid 3.0L turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that generates 395 horsepower or a supercharged 5.0L V8 that gives the driver control of 550 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.

More luxury features in the F-Pace

The Jaguar F-Pace is more expensive than the smaller Jaguar E-Pace, which is why it isn’t surprising that it offers a number of exclusive luxury features that are not available on the E-Pace. These include the Adaptive Dynamics suspension that constantly monitors the road surface and the driver’s inputs to offer an improved blend of handling and ride comfort. In addition, the F-Pace can be ordered with 16-way power adjustable ventilated front seats with a massage function, and a number of finishers such as genuine wood veneers or aluminum trim to complement the interior design.
