Jaguar and Land Rover Develop Advanced HUD System

British manufacturers Jaguar and Land Rover are currently working on a three-dimensional head-up display system that could revolutionize the industry in the coming years.

The purpose of the system is to improve the information displayed in the HUD. It is possible, for example, to show a line closure in the display or to change the colors of the lines if the vehicle is about to deviate from its trajectory.

According to Jaguar and Land Rover, studies have shown that having this visibility in front of the driver and not only relying on an audible warning or a vibration of the steering wheel could improve the safety of the driver and his or her passengers.

We should learn more about this system by the end of the year!
