Jaguar F-TYPE ZP Edition: A Grand Farewell to a Legacy

A Nod to the Past, A Toast to the Present

Jaguar is bidding adieu to its F-TYPE lineup with a grand gesture: the limited-edition F-TYPE ZP Edition. This exclusive model pays homage to the iconic 1960s E-type racing vehicles, encapsulating the brand's rich heritage in sports car manufacturing. With only 150 units slated for production, each vehicle comes with a 575HP supercharged petrol V8 engine and is meticulously crafted by SV Bespoke, Jaguar's in-house personalization experts.

As the automaker prepares for a seismic shift towards becoming an all-electric luxury brand by 2025, the F-TYPE ZP Edition serves as a tribute to Jaguar's internal combustion sports car lineage. This move is especially poignant considering the F-TYPE's more than a decade-long history of captivating drivers, much like its predecessor, the E-type, did half a century ago. The ZP Edition joins a distinguished line of heritage-inspired collector's editions, including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.

Unparalleled Aesthetics and Performance

The F-TYPE ZP Edition offers two unique color schemes, both of which are a first for the F-TYPE series. Buyers can choose between Oulton Blue Gloss paint paired with Mars Red and Ebony duotone leather interior, or Crystal Grey Gloss paint complemented by Navy Blue and Ebony duotone leather interior. These colorways are inspired by the original 'Project ZP' E-type vehicles that made their racing debut in 1961. Adding to the car's allure are Porcelain White Gloss hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors and grille surrounds.

The interiors are equally captivating, featuring horizontal seat fluting and Gloss Black exterior accents. The vehicle also boasts Gloss Black brake calipers and 20-inch Gloss Black Diamond Turned forged alloy wheels. Each car is adorned with a 'One of 150' SV Bespoke commissioning plaque, underscoring its exclusivity.

Performance-wise, the F-TYPE ZP Edition is nothing short of exceptional. Available in both Coupé and Convertible body styles, the car is equipped with a 575HP engine, 516 lb-ft of torque, and an all-wheel-drive system featuring Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) technology. This ensures remarkable performance across various terrains and weather conditions, with the ability to accelerate from 0-60mph in a mere 3.5 seconds.

In summary, the F-TYPE ZP Edition is not just a car; it's a celebration of Jaguar's storied past and a fitting farewell to a beloved model. With its unique aesthetics and unparalleled performance, this limited-edition vehicle is a collector's dream and a testament to Jaguar's enduring legacy in the world of sports cars.
