The upgraded Meridian Surround Sound system can be ordered in a number of Jaguar vehicles. By adding center and surround channels, this system can generate an output of 825 watts from up to 20 speakers. For drivers who want the ultimate audio experience available in Jaguar vehicles, the Meridian Signature Sound System benefits from up to 26 speakers in order to provide 1,300 watts of power and a 3-dimensional experience.
The Trifield technology
Both of the uplevel Meridian sound systems found in Jaguar vehicles are equipped with the Trifield technology. This Meridian exclusive seamlessly blends the center, surround, left, and right channels in order to create an immersive experience that makes it sound as if passengers are hearing a live performance. This impression is further reinforced by the Trifield 3D technology found only in the Meridian Signature system.
